New Shop Project
Union Concrete is currently in the midst of building an entirely new combined shop and office building. The company has been at its current location since the early 1950s and has simply outgrown it. The significant investment that the company is making in the new shop, will position the company for decades of future success.
The new shop is being constructed at Union Concrete's existing yard, comprising of almost 20 acres of land, at 435 Meyer Rd., West Seneca, NY. The building has a total of 24,000 square feet, comprising of 4,000 sf of office, 8,000 sf of equipment repair, 4,000 sf of fabricating, 1,000 sf of wash bay and 7,000 sf of storage space. After the building is complete, Union Concrete will consolidate its entire operation at Meyer Rd.
Construction started in August of 2018 and is expected to be finished by June of 2019. Union Concrete is self performing all of the foundation and site work. It has hired a general contractor to build the rest of the project.
